I've changed your items to use your new gmail address - I'm pretty sure I got them all, but let me know if not.

Thanks,

Alexis

Hi, no that's fine you got them all!

Another question, what's the best way to change the order in which the items appear in a collection? I assigned track numbers, but they came out in a seemingly random order instead...

Thanks again for your work running this service!

Ale

Hi,

I recommend putting the track number in the actual file name, like this:

01_nameoffile.mp3
02_anotherfile.mp3
03_blahblah.mp3

(If you have more than 9 files you need to start numbering with 01, otherwise the files will go in this order: 1, 10, 11, 12, etc.)

This FAQ has info about how to access your files to make changes: http://www.archive.org/about/faqs.php#262

Thanks,

Alexis

Hi Again,

I've tried to follow your indications, but the edit page is missing for me at http://www.archive.org/editxml.php?type=audio&edit_item=Christmas_Recordings_2006

- could it be another orphan due to me changing my email address?

Thanks very much,

Ale

Hi,

Actually, it was because you still had the item checked out. I checked it back in for you, so you should be able to access it now.

You can check on your "outstanding" items by going here:

Thanks,

Alexis

ok, sorry about that! I did try and check it in again, but I must be doing something wrong with filezilla (it must be keeping a cached copy instead of downloading the "click me" file or something)

Will try not to bother again for a long time! :)

Thanks for sorting that out,

Ale

It's no biggie - your checkin problem was probably related to changing the uploader info. But that's solved now, so you should be fine from here on out.
